Antonia leads GeelongSC Women to 10-0 victory

The young Antonia Delac steered Geelong to a convincing win over Geelong Rangers at Stead Park in game that saw her dominate and dictate to her opponents. Her continuous running, precision passing and her ability to put the ball into the back of net paves the way for a promising future.

With six players scoring for Geelong, it was Antonia`s first goal that set the scene for the afternoon. With a solid defence and a running mid-field controlled by Antonia, Angela and Jaymie, Rangers had no answer for the dominant Geelong.

GeelongSC are sitting on top of the ladder undefeated. But two key players are out with serious injuries. Steph with a knee is out for 3 weeks and Sumeyra with a snapped ankle ligament is out long-term. The top of the table clash is against Breakwater on the 18/06/2011.
